Nigeria begins high-level economic discussions with China to stimulate increased multi-sectoral investment across the Nigerian economy.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who led a delegation to China is now interfacing with the Chinese officials led by President XI Jinping.
President Tinubu will also participate in a series of discussions with ten prominent Chinese corporations overseeing assets totaling over $3 trillion.
These corporations operate within various sectors which include oil and gas, aluminium production, seaport construction and dredging services.
Other areas of priority during President Tinubu’s engagement with the Chinese multinationals are information and communications technology, harbour constructions, financial services, satellite technology development, as well as many other critical sectors.
