The Police, in the first quarter of the year, arrested 40 persons for various crimes in Kaduna State.

The Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State Command, CP Rabiu Muhammed, reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to decisively combat criminality across all operational sectors of the state.

Mubammed, during a strategic review of the Command’s operational achievements for April, highlighted significant breakthroughs in ongoing security operations.

According to the CP, coordinated intelligence-led operations yielded positive response with the arrest of 30 suspected kidnappers and four suspected arms traffickers. The Command also recovered a cache of illegal firearms and apprehended six suspected members of a car theft syndicate, with five stolen vehicles successfully recovered.

In a related development, the Police Command confirmed the successful rescue of a minor abducted by suspected kidnappers, underscoring its commitment to rapid response and victim's recovery.

CP Rabiu Muhammed warned that Kaduna State is increasingly hostile terrain for criminal elements, reiterating the Command’s zero-tolerance stance on crime. He also called on residents to support security agencies with timely and credible intelligence to enhance ongoing operations.
