Luck smiled on the Best graduating student of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Modupe Akintola, as Governor Dapo Abiodun offered her automatic employment in the state civil service.
The Governor said the offer takes effect after the completion of the beneficiary's mandatory National Youth Service Corps; Akintola topped the department of Office Management Technology with 3.90 Cumulative Grade Point Average - CGPA.
Governor Abiodun made the announcement while making his speech at the 40th Founders Day and 19th convocation ceremony of the institution in Ilaro, Ogun State.
He congratulated the graduating students, urging them to prepare for the future based on education and skill they have received.
Correspondent John Felix reports that over three thousand students were awarded Ordinary and Higher National Diploma certificates, while one hundred and seventy-nine graduands got a distinction.
