The Ogun Oshun River Basin Development Authority on Monday said that the flood that ravaged houses around Isheri Riverview, Magboro and its environs is not as a release of water from the Oyan Dam but the level of water that comes from the rainfall.
Director Services of the Ogun Oshun River Basin Authority, Femi Dokunmu made this known in a chat with Galaxy News following claims the authority released its dam, thereby displacing people.
He noted that there has always been a release of water from the dam; stressing that there are other factors that could have led to the flood
