The Ogun State Commissioner of Police,  Ahmed Illyasu is calling for the repositioning and integration of hunters in the state as whistle blowers towards the actualization and delivery of useful information to combating crime and criminality in the state.

Speaking at the capacity building workshop organised for hunters in the state, the police boss says the role hunters play towards ensuring a safer state cannot be overemphasized and as such, they should be accorded with the necessary support to thrive.

He reiterates the commitment of the command towards achieving  effective partnership to nip in bud every form of crime and criminality in the state.

The commissioner of police also charged the hunters to remain trustworthy in the discharge of their duties, urging them not to relent in their oars. He says the command has achieved much having them as partners in progress.
