Youths in the oil-rich Ogoni Kingdom, Rivers State, have taken to the streets to protest the neglect of the education federal institution in their community by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited, NNPCL.

The protesters, under the aegis of Ogoni Youths Development Initiative, in collaboration with the South-South Youths, marched through various streets in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, agitating the neglect of the Federal University of Environment in their Community.

The protesting youths displayed placards with different inscriptions, led by the Global President, Imeabe Saviour. They demanded that the oil multinational must obey the directives of the federal government in funding the federal university.

Imeabe Saviour agitated that the protest is to convey to the NNPCL that the youths are not comfortable with happenings in the institution of learning.

The protesting youths blocked the entrance to the NNPCL Office.
