Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike says the faulty electoral system in the last twenty years of the nation’s democracy is as a result of the poor leadership selection process.

The Governor made the declaration while addressing Rivers people during the 59th independence Anniversary at the shark’s stadium in Port Harcourt.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Wike described the electoral process as fraudulent without the substance of a free and fair election.

He harps on the need for Nation-building in keeping hope alive through a united Nigeria that will be economically viable for all.

He thanked the security agencies in the state for the improvement in the last two months and their efforts in flushing out criminals in the state.
