The Delta state government on Monday commenced the ground breaking and construction of three flyovers and pedestrian bridges in Warri and Uvwie local government, to be constructed by construction giant Julius berger.
The ceremony which took place at the DSC roundabout in Uvwie local government was seen as a landmark one, taking into consideration that it was the first time since the state creation that the construction giant is constructing roads in the state.
The N78 billion naira projects when completed, will ease the daily traffic along the Warri/Uvwie axis and ensure travellers drive freely along the East/West road leading to Bayelsa and Rivers States.
