Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state has paid a condolence visit to the family of Hauwa Liman, the aid worker that was slain by boko haram fighters in Maiduguri.
The Governor in his message to the father of Hauwa, Alhaji Liman, said the manner in which his daughter died is inhuman, he should take solace in the fact that Hauwa died serving humanity and she would forever be remembered as a national hero.
Kashim stated that the government will not rest on her efforts to restore peace and order in borno and the northeast and the insurgents must be rooted out to face justice for all their evil deeds.
