Governor Siminalayi Fubara Rivers State has broken his silence over speculations that he has defected from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, in the buildup to the 2027 general elections.
Governor Fubara made the clarification while on an inspection tour of the newly constructed General Hospital at Rumuigbo, in Obiakpor Local Government Area.
Governor Fubara broke his silence on the issue to clarify the insinuation that after his screening by the APC, he stormed out of the venue, perhaps, unsatisfied with many suggesting he will be leaving the party with his loyalists to the NDC.
He described it as a social media stunt, saying he remains in the ruling All Progressives Congress.
On the inspected hospital, he said it is a fulfilled promise after initial challenges.
