Delta state has recorded its fourth case of the coronavirus pandemic a few hours after the dusk to dusk curfew imposed by the state Governor Ifeanyi Okowa came into effect.

The case according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is among the thirty-four new cases recorded in the country.

The Governor on his verified twitter handle confirmed the fourth reported case of the COVID-19 pandemic but did not state if it was recorded in Warri or Asaba which recorded the third case.

Okowa assures Deltans that the medical experts are fully prepared to tackle the dreaded virus as over seventy patients have been traced, of which the state government have tested forty-six of the patients remaining twenty-six.

Recalled that one of the patients who tested positive for the virus died before the result came out, leaving only three patients that are presently receiving treatment in the four isolation centres across the state.
