The people of Agbarho community in Ughelli North local government area of Delta state have called on the state government to prevail on the contractor handling the abandoned bridge project to return to the site.

Speaking on the need for urgent action from the Delta state government, some community residents express their displeasure.

Meanwhile, motorists who could not drive through the wooden bridge leave their vehicles as traders carry their wares on their head.

A trader lament the risk of passing through the bridge as the community president General urge the government to prevail on the contractor to return to the site.

Meanwhile, the Delta state Governor Ifeanyi Okowa during the swearing-in of commissioners on Wednesday, promised to visit abandoned road projects hence he retained the former work's commissioner Mr James  Augoye who they say is aware of their plight.
