The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has charged commanders of the Nigerian Air Force to sustain aggressive operations against bandits and other criminal elements, urging them to fight smart, retain the initiative, and deliver decisive results. The chief of air staff gave the charge during his maiden visit to NAF formations at the Air Force Base, Kaduna, where he addressed officers, airmen, and airwomen in a durbar organised in his honour.

He said the visit was not a routine engagement but an opportunity for direct interaction with personnel, exchange of views, and reaffirmation of shared responsibilities in line with the mission and values of the Nigerian Air Force. Speaking on his assumption of office as the 23rd Chief of Air Staff, Aneke said he had undertaken a comprehensive review of the challenges affecting the operational effectiveness of the Air Force and subsequently articulated a command philosophy aimed at enhancing performance.

According to him, the command philosophy was not a slogan but a working framework that must guide decision-making, planning, training, and conduct at all levels of command across the Nigerian Air Force. CAS also commission Student officers’ quarters at Dala Road, he also Commission an Administrative Block and Hall at Air Force Secondary School Kaduna.
