The Chief of Army Staff Lt General Tukur Buratai who was represented by the General Officer Commanding 3 Division, Jos, Major General Benson AKINROLUYO says Mubi as one of the strategies locations to site a standard barrack to accommodate troops that will protect the nation's territorial integrity

The GOC says this while commissioning the edifice in Mubi local government area, disclosed that the edifice will go a long way in strengthening the troops to carry out their obligations

Mubi local government area of Adamawa State is one of the trouble areas that was captured by the members of the Boko Haram in 2014.

The GOC says the Nigerian Army will remain committed and will take the welfare needs of troops as one of its cardinal priorities both in peace and wartime

He, however, enjoins the officers and men to judiciously make use of the edifice and also bear in mind that the need to maintain the facility is of paramount importance to all and sundry

Earlier, in his welcome address, the Brigade Commander 23 command says fighting and winning war would not be achieved if the welfare of the officers and men are not adequately addressed. Adding that, boosting the morale of officers and men of the Nigerian Army involved in the fight against insurgency need to be overemphasized.
