President Muhammadu Buhari will present the 2020 budget estimate at a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday 8th October 2019.
This was disclosed Thursday by the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Publicity, Adedayo Adeyeye while addressing Senate Correspondents after plenary.
Senator Adeyeye assured that the ninth Senate is committed to ensuring the budget cycle is reverted to the January to December timeline in line with its agenda to have a predictable budget regime.
He said the delays warranted by the failure of heads of MDAs to appear for budget defence sessions have been effectively addressed.
