Bayelsa to partner U.S on security

The Bayelsa state government has called for the collaboration and support of the United States in partnering with it in the areas of security and education.

The call was made at the government house in Yenagoa when the governor, Seriake Dickson played host to the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Williams Symington who was on a working visit to the state.

Speaking on the need for partnership, Governor Seriake Dickson said the state is safe for business with the American government.

On his part, the US ambassador to Nigeria lauded the state government for investing in human capital development through security and education.

The United States ambassador had also visited some states in the Niger Delta as part of his working visit to the region.
