Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has accused the international communities of fueling insecurity in Nigeria calling on all security agencies to always being on their guard.

Speaking in Oyo town during a visit by the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Bashiru Makama, Oba Adeyemi lauded the doggedness of the Nigerian security agencies for being able to confront the insurgents despite the low quality of their weapons.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the frontline monarch who expressed concern about the quality and potency of the weapons being display by the insurgents noted that such would not have been possible without the support and backing of their sponsors.

He called on the federal government to continue to equip the security agencies in Nigeria with quality weapons for them to continue to protect the territorial integrity of the country.

On his part, the Assistant Inspector General of police in charge of Zone XI, Bashiru Makama solicited the support of traditional rulers for the community policing initiative of the federal government.

The Assistant Inspection General of police also visited the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji and Soun of Ogbomosho where he solicited the support of the people for community Policing.
