The Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has declared that he will appeal against the judgment of an Ibadan High Court, which nullified the review of the 1957 Olubadan chieftaincy declaration and other related chieftaincies.

Ajimobi, who made the declaration during the commissioning of a school in Ajara, Lagelu local government area of the state reinstated his earlier position that the review, which culminated on August 27, 2017, installation of 21 new obas, was in the overall interest of all good people of Ibadan land.

On the school donated by a former attorney general of the Federation Chief Akinlolu Olujinmi, the Governor said the effort indicates that the school governing board initiative of the government is working.

The  Donor, Chief Olujnmi, in his remark said the School Governing Board policy has paved way for well meaning indigenes of the state to contribute to the development of education in their respective localities and by extension Oyo State.
