The Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu, is beginning to change the war game against bandits, as the involvement of the police is beginning to increase in the anti-terrorism security interventions.

Visiting families of fallen heroes in Zamfara State, IGP Disu declared that the Police will take the battle to them.

The IGP in commiseration with family of one of the demised officers, highlighted inter alia: "Your son was an hero; he was an hero to us - the Nigeria Police Force. He is big loss to us...
"We are Not Going to Succumb to defeat; we are not going to succumb to them.

"We will take the battle to them..."
