Residents Doctors Expose Gov Abiodun's Failure On health, Proceed On Strike

Resident Doctors at Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, may have exposed the failure of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, on development of healthcare facilities in his two tenures. The Resident Doctors proceeded on a 10-day warning strike, shutting down healthcare services, in agitation of unpaid allowances, manpower shortage and poor welfare of doctors.

President of the Resident Doctors Association in Ogun State, Dr John Omotoso, signed the communiqué mandating doctors to commence strike. The doctors cautioned that any member defying the strike, will be fined N50,000.
