Prof. Jerome, a paediatrician was killed on Friday along Benin/Ekpoma road by unknown gunmen and his death has since remained a mystery to his colleagues and Nigerians.

Speaking at a press conference in Osogbo, chairman of the Association, Edward Komolafe condemned the incident and called on the Inspector General of Police to act decisively to apprehend perpetrators and subject them to the full wrath of the law in order to prevent a recurrence of such.
