When it was thought that the worst of man inhumanity to man has been heard in Plateau state following the years of communal clashes and mayhem that has engulfed the state over the years.

Another ear tingling news was announced by the state police commissioner, Nasiru Oki, when on Wednessday, made known to journalist at the state police command in Jos, that a middle aged Man known as ,Maimako Shephang , who has embarked on a journey of get rich quickly deceived his wife into the bush in one of the villages of Quanpan Local Governmentn Council, of Plateau state, that they should go fetch some fire wood only to get to a thick forest were he handed her over to some marks men who had paid him the sum of ₦800,000.00 already to bring a virgin for ritual purpose.      

The woman was however lucky to have survived as she did not meet the needed criteria of the ritualist and was told to go. She then cried out on getting home which led to the husbands prompt arrest.

The culprit who was arrested confessed to the crime of trying to sell his wife for ₦800,000. He said it was the devil's handwork that led him into such venture which has back fired on him, He asked for God's mercy.

Alongside the culprit was the ritualist who said that was his first attempt to use a human being for ritual purpose.
