Former Attoney Geenral of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Richard Akinjide and eminent lawyer, Chief NiyiAkintola have rated the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari low in the area of the economy saying Nigerians are suffering.

The two legal luminaries, who expressed this view while speaking on one year in office of President Buhari maintained that nothing seem to have change except in the area of security where Nigerians have experienced a bit of relief.

To Chief Richard Akinjide, the last one year of President Muhammadu Buhari has not been impressive following the lingering economic downturn in the land while Chief Niyi Akintola in his views faulted the Buhari economic team with an appeal to the President to have a rethink in this direction.

The former Attorney General and Minister of Justice described Nigeria economy as one of the worst in Africa in the recent times adding that with heavy reliance on importation, more danger is still ahesd unless urgent measures are taken.

On the menace of the fulani herdmen in some parts of the country, while Akinjide was passive about thr matter blaming the crisis on the poor management of the. Country's economy and bad leadership, Akintola charged be president to be more proactive on the matter before it get out of hand and become another Boko Haram issue.

They therefore appeal to rhe government at the centre to focus more on revamping the ailing economy ans make life more conducive for the masive through people oriented policIes.
