Nigerian livestreamer and content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has questioned the accommodation arrangements for the country’s Under-17 women’s football team, the Flamingos, during a visit to the players in Morocco.
In a video circulating on social media, Peller expressed surprise after captain Harmony Chidi told him that two players shared a room at their accommodation during the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
“Two in a room? They still no do better thing. You guys are footballers. Do you know what they call footballers? Two in a room?” he said.

However, Chidi defended the arrangements, telling the streamer that the players were being treated well and describing the accommodation as suitable for professionals.
When Peller questioned why the players were satisfied with the arrangement, Chidi encouraged him to find out more about their experience.
The exchange has drawn attention to the welfare and accommodation of Nigeria’s young footballers, although the video does not establish that the players are dissatisfied with their living conditions.
During the interaction, Peller also asked the players about their backgrounds and the different ethnic groups represented in the squad.
The streamer appeared pleased after the players identified teammates from Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa backgrounds, joking about the diversity within the team.
He also spoke with Chidi about his wife, fellow content creator Jarvis, and agreed to follow some of the players on social media after they asked him to.
The Flamingos are in Morocco for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which began on October 17 and is scheduled to end on November 7.
The team, led by head coach Akeem Busari, arrived in the North African country on October 7, with Chidi named captain of the 21-player squad.
Nigeria qualified for the tournament after winning the WAFU-B U-17 Girls Championship and is seeking to build on its third-place finish at the 2022 edition.
