Columbus Short Arrested For Altercation In Dallas Bar

Columbus Short’s fall from grace continues with another arrest. The ex-Scandal star was apprehended by police in Dallas, Texas early this morning (July 5) for public intoxication. After what may have been a few too many drinks at a local bar, Katy Trail Ice House, Short got into a verbal spat with a security guard, according to TMZ. The actor and the guard began their tussle after Short appeared to be skipping out on his tab. Two off-duty police officers reportedly attempted to diffuse the situation. "He was uncooperative with police," an employee at the bar said, according to People. "It was a minor issue. He was verbally assaulting the police." Just last week, Short was ordered to pay his estranged wife $21.5K monthly, a combination of spousal and child support. After walking away from his role on the popular ABC series, Short has pursued a music career.
