Internet pesonality and social commentator Solomon Buchi has criticised media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, over his relationship with controversial UK-based cleric Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.
Buchi questioned Freeze’s silence on Adegboyega, accusing the media personality of being quick to criticise Nigerian pastors while maintaining a close relationship with the UK-based cleric.
In his remarks, Buchi alleged that Freeze “jumps around and frolics with criminals,” while challenging him to speak about Adegboyega with the same energy he uses when commenting on other religious figures.
The criticism comes amid renewed attention on Adegboyega and his past legal troubles in the United Kingdom. Buchi has previously questioned Freeze’s silence on the cleric, describing the two as close friends.
Buchi and Freeze have also clashed publicly in the past, particularly over Freeze’s criticism of Nigerian pastors. In 2024, Buchi defended Pastor Jerry Eze after Freeze questioned the cleric’s finances and ministry, accusing Freeze of repeatedly targeting clergymen.
