Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington and her husband, singer Banky W, have celebrated their son, Hezekiah, on his second birthday, describing him as a confident, independent child who brings love and laughter into their home.
The couple shared a joint birthday message on Instagram on Sunday, joking that although their son was only two, he already had “two decades of opinions and zero interest in negotiations”.
They described him as a strong-willed dancing king, playfully calling him “Mr. No Gree For Anybody” and “Mr. Carry Youuu!” while noting that he often surprised and amused them.
The couple also prayed that his determination would develop into strength of character and that his confidence would be guided by their Christian faith.
They expressed the hope that he would retain the courage to stand his ground while gaining the wisdom to know when to yield.
Reflecting on his growth, they said it felt as though he had been born only yesterday, even as he appeared to have been running their household for years.
They also expressed gratitude to God for the privilege of being his parents, urging him to keep dancing, shining and growing into the person he was created to be.
Banky W and Adesua married in 2017 and have two sons. Their first son, Hazaiah Olusegun Champ Wellington, was born in January 2021.
