Twelve Ships Laden With Petrol, Diesel, Kerosine Arrive Lagos

Twelve ships laden with petroleum products consisting of petrol, diesel, kerosene and base oil have arrived Lagos ports, waiting to berth.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) disclosed this on Wednesday in its daily “Shipping Position’’ made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

It said six other ships containing food items had arrived at the ports, also waiting to berth with bulk wheat and bulk rice.

According to the document, 60 ships are expected at the ports from November 19 to December 5.

The contents of the expected ships are bulk fertilizer, containers, steel products, bulk malt, crude palm oil, used vehicles and general cargo.

The document also stated that 20 ships were discharging bulk rice, bulk gypsum, general cargo, fertilizer, bulk sugar and petroleum products at the ports.
