The government of Ondo state in conjunction with a  private partner has commenced production of organic fertilizer through recycling of waste products.

The waste recycling company which was established during Agagu administration and was abandoned by Mimiko led government has been reenacted to turn waste to  wealth  and to complement the drive to increase revenue generation in the state.

Speaking at the flag off of the scheme, the head of the programme, Dr Abiola Bashorun said the move by the Ondo state government to recycle waste for revenue generation is highly commendable.

Speaking about the scheme, the governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu said his administration will do everything possible to change the status of the state from civil service to industrialized one.
