Politicians have been charged to give back to the society. The call was made in Oshogbo by the deputy governor of Osun state, Titi Laoye Tomori while presenting empowerment materials to widows in the state.

The distribution according to the organisers, was part of efforts to give back to the society especially the women whose roles in nation building cannot be underestimated.

They called on women to actively participate in politics and support the present administration in the state. 

However, the beneficiaries were drawn from 68 local governments and local government development authorities across the state.
