Operatives of the Ogun state Police Command have apprehended a 36-year old mechanic identified simply as Musiliu Owolabi, for allegedly killing his lover identified simply as Azeezat.

The Ogun state police command alleged that the father of three buried the corpse of his deceased lover at a vacant plot of land behind his house.

Speaking on the incident, the Ogun state commissioner of Police, Ahmed Illiyasu revealed that Owolabi was arrested after a man who claimed to be Azeezat’s brother reported the matter to the police.

On interrogation, the suspect said the woman identified as Azeezat called him on 1 February and he asked her to meet him at a camp near his house.
