Group calls on PMB to sign peace corp bill
Some youths in Benue state have appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari on the need to take a second look at the Peace Corp Bill with a view to signing it into law.
The youth who expressed joy over the President's visit to Makurdi, the Benue state capital, despite the challenges faced in the state, said he should consider the bill following the rate of unemployment in the country.
The group led by Austin Agada and Shima Atoka, called on the president to discountenance whatever insinuation making the rounds in the state as the youth are behind him in his quest to restore peace.
The group who also carried placards with various inscriptions and banners to welcome to the president to Benue state amid tight security near the government house, however, expressed hope that their aspiration will be met.
