7 die on Lagos-Ibadan expressway accident
Seven persons who arrived Lagos from Spain on Tuesday  en route Benin city have been confirmed dead in an accident involving a white Toyota Hiace Bus and a blue Mack truck opposite a roofing sheet company along the Lagos /Ibadan Expressway.

Confirming the incident to Galaxy news,FRSC Ogun State Sector Commander, Clement Oladele said the accident was caused by speeding and wrongful overtaken on the part of the bus.
 
Oladele explained that the dead had been deposited at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital mortuary while the injured were taken to same hospital.
 
The sector commander also reiterated the need for caution by drivers to always travel at recommended speed limit.
 
Oladele noted that life had no duplicate, and passengers should not abdicate their responsibility of cautioning their drivers whenever driving recklessly.
 
On his part, a friend of the deceased who chose to remain unidentified said he had returned from Spain  to Nigeria with his colleagues together but decided to stay back in Lagos to attend to other engagements, only  for him to have been called about the incident.
