Boko Haram terrorists, reportedly, overrun a military base in the early hours of Friday in Borno State.

The Boko Haram terrorists invaded the military base along the Mandara–Buratai Road at about 4.00 a.m. on Friday.

The theorists were said to have invaded the 162 Battalion base in large numbers while there was heavy rainfall. The military suffered casualties with the death of 8 soldiers, before thee intervention of troops that repelled the terrorists. Some others sustained injury.
