Tebas made the comments on Tuesday, two days after Real Madrid lost 2-1 to city rivals Atletico Madrid in the derby.
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho displayed two screenshots of tackles by Atletico players at his post-match press conference, arguing that the incidents should have resulted in red cards.
The move prompted Tebas to respond to a pro-Real Madrid article on social media, where he rejected suggestions that referees were deliberately working against the 15-time European champions.
“Claiming that referees are directed against Real Madrid is living in another galaxy,” Tebas said.
He also criticised suggestions that Real Madrid’s importance to the league should influence refereeing decisions.
“What exactly is it asking for? Refereeing based on revenue, viewership, or the badge?” he asked.
Tebas acknowledged the club’s importance to Spanish football but said La Liga did not belong to any individual team.
“Real Madrid are crucial to La Liga. But the competition belongs to no one,” he said.
Real Madrid have endured a difficult start to the campaign and are already six points behind defending champions and early leaders Barcelona.
Tebas said the focus should instead be on the team’s performances.
“That narrative serves as an excuse to cover up other shortcomings that are plain to see in these first matches of the season,” he said.
Mourinho returned for a second spell at the Santiago Bernabéu during the close season, with the task of ending Real Madrid’s two-year wait for a major trophy.
