My Team Mates Makes It Difficult For Me- Van Persie

Robin van Persie believes his Manchester United teammates are making it "more difficult" for him to find space and admits he has been forced to adjust at the expense of his own game.

Man U in danger of being dumped out of the Champions League following a 2-0 defeat to Olympiakos yesterday evening.

Van Persie, who squandered a gilt-edged chance to pull a goal back for David Moyes’ side late in the second half, admits he is struggling in his role under the Scot.

"Sometimes I try to find ways to do more but in the areas I wanted to play, my teammates were often there. This makes it difficult for me,” he added. "Then I have to change my tactics to suit my teammates, and play outside my zone. It's a pity.

Van Persie also said that "We played too slow and could therefore create little.

"You have to hope that you get one chance, and I did. I rushed my shot. You don't get many chances so if you get one you need to take it."

But despite his admission, Van Persie refuses to blame Moyes for United's poor performances this season.

“He's working hard and so are we,” he said. “It is not easy and it is up to us to turn it around. It is easy for someone to point the finger, but I won't.”
