The Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has accepted the judgement of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, saying the Thursday judgment has settled the PDP leadership dispute and put an end to claims of factions within the party.

Wike, in a median interaction at his Abuja residence, declared that the PDP is one, commending the 3–2 ruling that nullified the Makinde-backed Ibadan convention.

Wike maintained that the decision has put to rest reactions of factions, dismissing speculation of a split in the main opposition party.

On the ADC, Wike said its crisis remains unresolved after the Supreme Court referred the case back to the Federal High Court.

The minister also took a swipe at political rivals, saying they are part of the people who have plunged Nigeria into problems.
