Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo, has urged Nigerians to organise at the grassroots and take collective action against poverty, insecurity and poor governance.
Adebayo made the call in Ibadan, Oyo State, while presenting his presidential blueprint, Farewell to Poverty and Insecurity, as part of his proposals ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said Nigeria’s major problems could not be solved by complaints or political rhetoric but through organised citizen participation across communities.
“The greatest problem of Nigeria is that we don’t know how to organise. Individually, it would make sense, but we need to learn to organise,” he said.
