Wife of Anambra Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has urged Nigerians to embrace their shared responsibility in building a nation anchored on peace, unity, prosperity and hope.
Soludo made the call in her Independence Day message to Nigerians as the country marked its 66th anniversary on Thursday.
She described Nigeria as a nation of immense possibilities.
“At 66, Nigeria remains a nation of immense possibilities.
“Our independence is not only a celebration of where we have come from, but a reminder of the responsibility we share in building the Nigeria we really want to see,” she said.
She expressed hope that Nigeria would continue to grow in peace, unity, prosperity and hope.
Soludo urged citizens to contribute their quota towards making the country better for generations to come.
She wished Nigerians a happy 66th Independence Anniversary.
