Okpebholo Forces Speaker Of Edo House of Assembly, Agbebaku, To Resign

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State may have forced the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Blessing Agbebaku, to resign. The Speaker of the Eight Assembly, on Monday, resigned over insinuation of impeachment plot by members of the House loyal to Governor Monday Okpebholo. Meanwhile, lawmaker, representing Akoko Constituency 1 in the House of Assembly, Yekini Idiaye, has taken over as the new Speaker of the Assembly.
