The party Chairman, Bayo Dayo stated this while answering questions from newsmen during the inauguration of the state's 35-man Governorship Campaign Committee at the party secretariat in Abeokuta said the party has been reposition to weather the storm of the elections.

Correspondent Kunle ojo reports that the party chairman noted that Bankole who boycotted the governorship primary election of the party in the state and was recently reported to have emerged the governorship candidate of the SDP, lacks electoral values that could ensure victory at the polls.

He described Bankole as nothing more than a paper weight politically, stressing that the former speaker lost his re-election bid into the House of Representatives in 2011 because he could not win his constituency which is just one local government.

All attempt to get in touch with the former speaker, Dimeji Bankole for his reaction on the allegation from the Peoples Democratic Party was not successful as his mobile lines were switched off.

An unconfirmed report has it that the former Speaker has been adopted as the Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party in the state for the February election.
