The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, has alerted the public and party members of fake nomination results and winners. The party insisted that the party's primaries holds on Friday, 29th May, 2026, as scheduled.
NDC National Secretary, Barrister Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu, in a statement noted that there is no way result or winners of the party's primaries will be made public without the primaries being conducted. The National Secretary, reaffirming the primary election date, declared: "It is, therefore, impossible and illogical for any primary results or winners to have emerged when the primaries are yet to take place.
"We strongly urge the public and all well-meaning Nigerians to completely disregard the fake NDC primary results and false rumours, currently circulating.
"Any result that does not emanate from official party sources should be disregarded.
"NDC remains committed to a transparent and credible primary process.
"We appeal to all our supporters and registered members to stay vigilant and ignore any unverified information."
