Kano Rerun: APC accused PDP of Planned Violence.
The All Progressive Congress has accused the People's Democratic Party of Planning to unleash violence on the people during the rerun elections coming up on Saturday in parts of the state. One of the APC candidates ALHASAN ADO DOGUWA said the PDP are trying to cause chaos in Doguwa on Saturday to take advantage of the law that calls for cancellation of any elections marred with violence. He said the APC would team up with the security agencies to ensure a peaceful rerun election in Doguwa federal constituency.
On his part, the candidate of the People's Democratic Party, Yushua Abdulahi said as a retired Military officer he will not be a party to anything that calls for violence. He accused the APC and its candidate of being initiators of electoral violence against him.
The rerun elections are scheduled to take place in all parts of Doguwa /Tudun Wada federal constituency on January twenty-five.
