The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been implored to apply cautions in the ongoing process to recall Senator Dino Melaye by the electorate in Kogi state.

The ongoing process of recall of a serving senator from the National Assembly has been described as a welcome development in the nation`s democracy.

Speaking with journalists in Akure, a senator ,representing Ondo central, Tayo Alasoadura and a chieftain of All progressives congress, Lucky Ayedatiwa said there is nothing wrong in the recall procedure but charged the electoral commission  to be cautious in its’ involvement in the process.

They both believe this development will serve as a wakeup call to other elected political office holders to be up and doing while in office.
