Although President Buhari expected 53 APC Senators, only 42 of them attended the meeting.

Some of the pro-Saraki Senators also attended the meeting.

Rising from the meeting, Senate leader said the meeting was to mend fences where necessary.

Also speaking, APC chairman Adams Oshiomole expressed optimism that defecting senators will reconsider their position and return to APC.

The 42 Senators that attended the meeting were, Adamu Aleiro, Bala Ibn Na-Allah, Aliyu Wamako, Ibrahim Gobir, Kabiru Marafa, Abu Ibrahim, Kabiru Gaya, Barau Jibrin, Abdullahi Gumel, Shehu Sani, Ahmed Lawan and Ali Ndume.Also present were Abubakar Kyari, Baba Kaka Garbai, Aliyu Abdullahi, David Umaru, , Abdullahi Adamu, George Akume, Francis Alimekhina, Andrew Uchendu, Magnus Abe, Ovie Omo-Agege, John Enoh, Nelson Effiong, Andy Uba, Sunny Ugboji, Hope Uzodinma, Ben Uwajimogu, Yusuf Yusuf, Oluremi.

Others were include Tinubu, Gbenga Ashafa, Solomon Adeola, Tayo Alasoadura, Soji Akanbi, Ajayi Boroface, Yele Omogunwa, Fatima Rasaki, Olanrewaju Tejuoso, Yahaya Abdullahi.
