An Isabo Magistrates' Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has ordered the remand of three suspects linked to the murder of former OGTV broadcaster, Kitan Oyesiku, and her security guard, Pelumi Adetayo, for 60 days.

The suspects, Sodeinde Olajunwon Phillip, Sakirudeen Abdulraheem Ayoola and Sobu Obafunsho, were remanded pending legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Ogun State Command, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, said that investigations into the June 20 killings at Oyesiku's residence in the Kobape area of Abeokuta have been concluded, leading to the suspects being charged to court.

Chief Magistrate O.T. Odubanjo granted the police application for their remand and adjourned the case to September 10, 2026.
