Northern youths under the auspices of United Northern Youth and Students (UNYS) have endorsed former Lagos State Governor and National leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Presidency in 2023.
The group also condemned the call by Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai for the abolition of power rotation in the country.
The youth group while addressing a press conference said Tinubu has contributed immensely to the North politically particularly how he coordinated the South West to give overwhelming support that brought about the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 and his reelection in 2019.
The coordinator of the coalition, Aminu said Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu has not declared to contest for any position yet but they are solidly behind him they also declared their support for President Muhammadu Buhari and giving him the required support to succeed.
