The ungoing leadership crisis rocking the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) might lead to it disqualification from the forth coming election if quick steps are not taken to curtail it excesses.

This was the stand of a legal practitioner, Barrister Okoli Akirika who is of the view that the party ought not to have allowed the problem degenerate into what it is at moment.

On the just concluded primaries where the incumbent governor, Willie Obiano emerged, Akirika said the exercise was totally out of the law and it goes further to complicate issues rather than provide solution.

Meanwhile the Agboso-led faction of the party had also conducted it primaries where one Igwebuike Ifeanyinchukwu emerge as winner. 

Sighting the 2010 electoral law as amended, Akirika said it provides INEC the liberty to disqualify any party who fails to harmonise itself under one umbrella in the conduct of it primaries.
