The Deputy Governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Samaila Yombe Dabai has expressed appreciation for the successful conduct of APC congress in all the 21 Local Government areas.

Alhaji Samaila Yombe who is also the chairman Reconciliation committee of the Congress, made the expression while answering questions in an interview with newsmen in Birnin Kebbi the state capital.

He said most of the local government officials of the APC were elected unopposed which had demonstrated the Unity and coherence among the party.

The Deputy Governor, Alh.Samaila Yombe Dabai thanked the members of the APC and other stakeholders for upholding to the symbol of the party which unity and change.

He said the reconciliation committee is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring free, fair and peaceful congresses noting that so far no hitch is reported from any part of the state.

The committee is also mandated to settle and reconcile aggrieved parties in the event of misunderstanding that might have arise from the Congresses.

The chairman explained that the state Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has given the Party and the committee the leveling playing ground to conduct congresses without interference. Alhaji Samaila Yombe Dabai, commended the Governor for living up to the expectation of people in the state which he said had convinced members of other political parties to join the running APC.

He advised members of the party to continue demonstrating a high sense of discipline and maturity, assuring equal treatment to all members regardless of when they join the APC.
