Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state says he has received President Muhammadu Buhari’s blessing for his re-election bid.
Emerging from a meeting with the President at the presidential villa, Abuja Tuesday, the Governor said he was prepared for the All Progressive Congress (APC) primaries whether direct or indirect mode.
The governor expressed confidence that the people of the state would return him to office based on his record of achievements in the last years.
Mr Akeredolu seeks a second term on the APC ticket but faces a major hurdle from some members of the party, both within and outside the state.
